Arguman: Arguman is a platform for constructing and analyzing arguments in a visually structured and interactive way. It’s an excellent tool for building critical thinking and reasoning skills.
Calligra Suite: Calligra Suite is KDE’s office and graphic design suite. It includes applications for word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, databases, vector graphics, and digital painting.
CodiMD: Open-source version of HackMD. This is now known as HedgeDoc.Evernote: Evernote is a note-taking app that helps you capture ideas, organize notes, and manage tasks seamlessly across devices. Its web clipper browser extension allows you to save web pages and articles directly into your Evernote account.
Dropbox: Dropbox is a file hosting service that offers cloud storage, file synchronization, personal cloud, and client software. It allows users to create a special folder on their computers, which Dropbox then synchronizes so that it appears to be the same folder regardless of which computer is used to view it. It’s often used for backup and collaboration.
FreeOffice: FreeOffice is a free and feature-rich office suite. It’s fully compatible with Microsoft Office formats and includes applications for word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations.
Grammarly: Grammarly is a digital writing assistant that checks for grammar, punctuation, and style issues. It also provides real-time suggestions for improving your writing.
Google Docs: Google Docs is a web-based word-processing tool allowing real-time collaboration. It offers various formatting options and integrates well with other Google services.
Google Workspace: Formerly known as G Suite, Google Workspace offers Google’s suite of cloud-based productivity and collaboration tools, including Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Drive.
HedgeDoc: HedgeDoc lets you create real-time collaborative markdown notes. You can test-drive it by visiting our HedgeDoc demo server. Hackpad, Etherpad, and similar collaborative editors inspire it. This project originated with the team at HackMD and now forked into its organization.
iA Writer: iA Writer is among the most established and widely acclaimed Markdown editors. Considered a “gold standard” Markdown editor, iA Writer is available for devices running macOS, Windows, iOS, and Android operating systems. The application allows you to export Markdown files to HTML, PDF, and Microsoft Word formats using custom templates.
LibreOffice: LibreOffice is a free and open-source office suite that includes tools for word processing, creating and editing spreadsheets, slideshows, diagrams, and drawings, working with databases, and composing mathematical formulae.

Notion: Notion is an all-in-one workspace where you can write, plan, collaborate, and organize. It integrates note-taking, task management, databases, and more into one tool.
Office Online: Office Online is Microsoft’s free web-based suite of Office productivity tools. It includes scaled-down versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote.
OmniOutliner: OmniOutliner is a flexible program for creating, collecting, and organizing information on MacOS. It’s great for drafting a story, an essay, a research paper, and more.
OnlyOffice: OnlyOffice is an office suite that allows you to manage documents, projects, teams, and customer relations in one place. It is fully compatible with Office Open XML and other popular formats.
oTranscribe: oTranscribe is a free and open-source app that makes transcribing audio a breeze. It offers a clean, easy-to-use interface with a built-in audio player and text editor.
Quip: Quip is a collaborative productivity software suite for mobile and the Web. It allows groups of people to create and edit documents and spreadsheets as a team, with chat and comments built in.
